This event is an easy way for your group to raise money. Each participant gets sponsorship donations from friends, family, neighbors, etc. To earn that donation, they give their best effort in the race. Prizes will be given for the winners in each age category. Last year the participating youth groups raised over $6,000.
The entry fee for each participant is $15.00. This fee includes a t-shirt and a certificate of completion with the runner’s finishing time. The entry fee profits will support the Lindenhurst Veterans Memorial and the Lake Villa Township Food Pantry.
Each participant should register either online, via mail or in person the day of the race. Race day registrants are not guaranteed a t-shirt.
Please let us know if your group is interested in participating. We'll get your group set up to register online and you can concentrate on raising money.
